In 2025, one of the main challenges became clear: developing specialized IT talent quickly, effectively, and aligned with real project demands. The shortage of technical profiles, combined with high market turnover, made it impractical to rely solely on traditional hiring.
In response, Xideral designed and delivered a comprehensive IT training academy program focused on accelerating technical skill development, ensuring operational continuity, and strengthening organizations’ technology culture.
The strategy: tailored IT training academies
Throughout the year, 14 IT training academies were delivered, each adapted to specific technologies, locations, and operational needs. The academies were held in cities such as Mexico City, Monterrey, and Mérida, using intensive formats and hands-on content.
The model was built on three key pillars:
- Learning applied to real-world projects
- Continuous technical assessments
- Expert guidance throughout the entire process
This approach ensured participants not only acquired knowledge, but also developed skills ready to be applied within productive teams from day one.
Measurable results: real impact on IT talent
The program results confirm the effectiveness of the model:
14 academies delivered in 2025
141 initial participants
137 graduates
Retention rate above 97%
In addition, 4 academies required formal certifications, resulting in a total of 38 certifications obtained.
These figures show how IT training academies do more than develop talent—they prepare professionals to meet specific technical standards aligned with business needs.
Key technologies developed throughout the year
The academies covered a broad range of strategic technologies, including:
AWS
Angular
ETL
Java
Spark
SQL
Terraform
JavaScript
API Testing
Cucumber
Selenium
Salesforce
Polymer 2 / LitElement
Front-End Frameworks
Azure Databricks
Microsoft Fabric
Azure Data Factory
This approach allowed the IT training academies to address both current demands and medium-term technology growth plans.
Global training: English as part of the program
A relevant differentiator was the inclusion of English as part of the training experience.
Three academies (Data MTY, DevOps, and MS Data) included random sessions conducted in English, and one academy (DevOps) completed its final evaluation entirely in English.
This component strengthened participants’ technical communication skills in global environments, increasing the overall value of the trained talent.
This case demonstrates that IT training academies are an effective solution for closing talent gaps, reducing onboarding time, and ensuring professionals are aligned with real business contexts.
At Xideral, academies are not generic courses—they are strategic training programs designed to directly impact productivity and competitiveness.
